Trump Admin slashes staffing at vital agencies serving the disability community
In what has been described as a "purge", the Trump Administration has slashed jobs across key health agencies, including those that play an important role in the lives of people with disability.
It has been reported that 40% of staff from the Administration for Community Living, which regulates aging and disability policy, have been fired, while the entire Division of Energy Assistance, which helps low income households with their energy bills, has gone. Also affected are the Food & Drug Administration (FDA) and the Center for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC). Find out more here.
